Demiaroace is a combination of Demisexual and Demiromantic. I use this term since most people say "aroace" when talking about someone who's both asexual and aromantic and I think it sounds good.
It's when there has to be an strong emotional bond before romantic and sexual feelings can even develop.
Demiromantic
It is part of the aromantic spectrum (not aromatic, we're not plants HAHAHAHAHAHAH Ifuckinghatethisjoke). A-romantic is quite like absence-of romantic attraction. Thus being aromantic means not feeling romantic attraction towards anyone.
Please note that this isn't "a lack of" romantic attraction, since "a lack" not only is purely subjective, but also means that this may be a wrong way, a wrong feeling, whereas this is just another experience, and so is unique as any other experience.
Furthermore, being demiromantic is feeling romantic attraction towards someone IF AND ONLY IF they're close to you, like AT LEAST friends, talk to each other, ykyk.
Demisexual
Being demisexual is kinda the same as being demiromantic, but on the ace spectrum.
Indeed, the ace spectrum, or asexuel spectrum, is when one has a different relationship with sexual attraction then what is consider "the norm".
For instance, being asexual is when you don't feel attracted by sexual activities. There's also a label for when you are repulsed by sexual thoughs/actions but I forgot its name :/ .
